We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Refrigerator Repair Technician to address cooling system issues in our refrigeration units. The ideal candidate should have expertise in repairing refrigerators, including changing copper pipes, replacing contactors, high/low-pressure switches, and replenishing refrigerant (freon). While experience with old ammonia systems is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and diagnose cooling system problems in our refrigeration units, including identifying and repairing copper pipe issues.
Replace or repair faulty contactors and high/low-pressure switches to restore proper functionality.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure refrigeration units are operating at their best.
Replenish refrigerant (freon) as needed to maintain proper cooling.
Communicate effectively with our team to coordinate repair efforts and minimize downtime.
Keep accurate records of services provided, including parts used and time spent on each repair.
Requirements:
Proven experience in repairing refrigeration units, including replacing copper pipes, electrical components, and replenishing refrigerant (freon).
Experience with old ammonia systems is preferred but not required.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Good communication skills.
Willingness to work on a part-time basis.
Own basic tools and equipment necessary for the job.
Knowledge of safety protocols in refrigeration repair.
Service fee: $38/Hour Min: $300/time
